Wait I thought the dominator never lost recruits to pitt? What's going on?
Over on SCOUT, the nitwits are saying that the minute Narduzzi gets another offer, he's gone.... Very telling. That means they're nervous... Unlike Franklin, there's nothing in Narduzzi's character that would indicate he would uproot and leave on a big offer. I'm not naive enough to think he will never leave. There are better jobs than Pitt. However, li would have to be a job that was clearly a step up (ND, AL, Texas, and all NFL head coaching jobs). He ain't leaving for a better pay check at Georgia Tech, Miss St, Oklahoma St, Miami...
If HCPN turns out to be what we all Hope he is, then I hope that the Pitt Admin can at least attempt to pay him.
I am sure he is already turning some heads, so we may find out sooner rather than later. But I am hopeful he stays for a little while anyway.

The new AD and Chancellor both understand the emphasis the university needs to place on BOTH academics and athletics. If this staff continues to be successful moving forward, I see the university backing this staff to try to keep most on board at PITT.
Narduzzi is staying. Those nitwits think the past predicts the future. Pitt's prior coaches left, the next will automatically leave too.
But they don't understand anything about the situation. Narduzzi doesn't have a hometown dream job to return to. Some think he'll go back to MSU the minute Dantonio leaves, but Pitt is actually a better job. Its really tough to recruit to MSU, much easier at Pitt. And the conference competition is less. PN waited a long time for the right HC job, turning down other opportunities until he found the one he wanted. He's here, and he is a builder. He is the anti-Graham.
As long as he has support -- and finally, we have an adminstration that will provide -- he will stay and build a program that is all his, and he will be successful.

Being from Youngstown, this is close to a hometown job. Of course he'd leave tomorrow to go to Ohio State, but there aren't many jobs like that.
Over on BWI they have an 8 page thread on the Sandusky trial and how he is innocent. I am not making this up. Them people have some issues.
NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING would make them happier than to come up with a plausible smoking gun that would make Sandusky look innocent. They can then conclude that JoePa was unjustly railroaded. They would immediately resurrect his statue and then go about being even more arrogant, condesending, and holier than thou.
That is their wet dream.... Unfortunately for them, that is pure fantasy....
Part of that wet dream would be to publicly lynch the victims who said anything to make Ped State football look bad.

They aren't trying to convince us. They are trying to convince themselves. They are good at creating fantasy out of reality in times of stress.
Nothing at all to worry about at this point. There are schools Narduzzi would leave Pitt for, but none of those schools would dare hire him at this point. When Pitt has a couple of top 15 finishes under him, and play in a couple of big bowls, then we can start to worry.
How long did Narduzzi follow dantonio? Pure speculation but I wouldn't be surprised to find out he values loyalty and won't bail on us for quite some time
A New Poster showed up on USC Boards with just 2 Post using a Penn State Player name and mentioning Narduzzi for USC! When they do this you know they are unhappy with Franklin and afraid of Narduzzi???

Stayed in Pitt Dorm to get to know every Player, that is a sign of someone wanting to Build Something Special At PITT and wanting to get to know his Players?

Narduzzi wanted to come to Pitt and with Dantonio's Blessing sad to see him go but happy for him, Dantonio stayed classy and did not take MSU Recruits, he is going to Rebuild Pitt Football Program his way, and has been waiting for this opportunity. He will stay at Pitt so long as Pitt wants him.
Pederson is gone, Barnes was hired after him, Coach Narduzzi is all Business it shows how he went on the sidelines of the Pitt Bowl Game, hire his Staff quickly unlike Chryst, and then went about changing Attitudes.
Coach Pat is all about teaching Players how to become better to play and build Winning Teams, and that is what Coach Pat is all about.....his Players! Any Kid can see it?

That really was disturbing as I saw it as well. You really can't make the stuff up that goes on there. They were talking about the PSU-OSU game from '97 being on ESPN Classic and how those were the good old days and they wish things were still like they were then. Really? You wish Sandusky was still not only committing crimes, but also still the D-Coordinator! Just sickening.
Dantonio wants only one job now........OHIO STATE! If Meyer leaves Dantonio will be a candidate if he can beat Harbaugh today and next few years? Meyer's is known to leave after a few years.
