Coach Narduzzi sat down on campus for a public interview hosted by University's Staff Council organization. It's part of a series where several University leaders have participated. Kris Davitt, VC of PAE is up next. Capel is scheduled to participate down the road. I thought there would be some interesting things to discuss from the interview and ensuing article:
1) What other job did he turn down? He did note turning down Colorado St. immediately before accepting Pitt job.
2) I was hoping to learn more about what made him comfortable coming to Pitt without an AD.
3) He didn't talk as much about mentoring coaches as I would have liked. Is that a chicken/egg situation for a Narduzzi coaching tree.
4) Best Pittsburgh restaurant is Serafino's.
