I agree and I don’t agree. This isn’t the NFL where wins is the only marker used judge teams. Perception in college football imo matters more. Perception draws recruits, attracts fans, affects rankings, and affect bowl invitations.

Winning is obviously part of this equation, but not everything. Teams with lower win totals in college football can go to better bowl games in conference than teams with better records. They can also recruit better talent, get ranked higher in the polls etc. We’re Pitt, we’re not going 12-0, style points matter a lot.
