I’m as happy as you that they pulled out a win, but the fact that you waited until after the game to post this speaks volumes. 5-14. Where are we putting the statue?

When you play Kent State, who lost to St. Francis, and then get behind while playing one of the worst P4 teams in the nation - while running an offense that wants to run as many plays as ours does - yeah, you'll have that. I'm doubling down on Holstein (at least as of now) and this team. You don't miss passes like he was missing if you're a good QB (as of now). The degree of difficulty on the passes he was hitting was not high. The coverages were busted. The fact that a bad team vomited in its own lap doesn't change my opinion. We suck. Let's see who is right at the end.
Love Kade Bell, though. Wish we could make him the head coach so we can keep him.

Holstein is a 19 year old who has played two games. He was recruited by Alabama and jumped over two other possibly decent QBs to start for Kade. He's going to be really good.

played terrible for 2 1/2 quarters, played really well for 1 1/2 quarters. the kent state game you just have to disregard, that's how truly bad they are.. its like an adult playing pickup basketball against the neighborhood 10 year olds and scoring a double double and bragging about it. you just dont do it..

That's not great, but to be fair some of those losses are Notre Dame, Penn St,TENN, etc. It's not like they are all to Kansas and Rutgers. That being said, we've also got bullied by Cincy, Northwestern, Stanford...not good Bob!

I'm happy. Even won a parlay I expected Pitt to cost me. Jusy skeptical. I don't think we've reached the dunking stage just yet.
5-14 now? That probably puts him head and shoulders over every coach not named Sherrill who has been here since WWII.
Pitt’s schedule set up well to break in a young QB. Kent State, Cincinnati, WVU, Youngstown State, UNC, and Cal all have pretty mid defenses.
Actually, Cal's defense wasn't bad against Auburn. That may be a tougher game then most of us were expecting.
I think you mean UCF, and you’re right but they weren’t a P5 at the time that we played them.
