Narduzzi should be on the hot seat

kind of embarassing reading some of these posts. narduzzi is in year two; he was left with a closet of mediocre talent on defense. could coaching be better, absolutely, but lets give him at least till next year till we start saying he is on the hot seat. we look like a fickle group of sore loser fans when we post things like this.

Maybe even year 4. I mean the talent he inherited wasn't just bad, these kids are absolutely horrible athletes. 90% of them should not be playing college football at any level.

You must not have seen much lower level ball, there is some bad football going on all over this country

Doesn't matter what we want...he will get two more years

He's way more impressive than any coach in 2 years here in 30 years. Not saying I'm impressed with him at all, it's just been that bad here lately.
As President Obama would say, "C'MON MAN".

Yep, it's always more TIME. Be PATIENT. Meanwhile, Colorado, which was a total tire fire, is in the top 20.

Cap, feel free to refute my points with some substantive rebuttal. Otherwise, go fellate yourself.

We've watched many a painful game this year. But really.... when you consider the talent deficit Pitt has vs. most of its opponents, and the inexperience in the secondary, what can you expect? Narduzzi needs better players. Breaking free from 30+ years of misery doesn't happen overnight.

A blowout loss was inevitable sooner or later. Three games left. Let's see how the Panthers respond.

Then why are they still on field. Play the younger guys and get them experience. Galambos is terrible. He takes himself out of plays. Play Brightwell or McKee or Wirginis and sit his butt on the bench. Maddox should never see the field again at Pitt. Webb's next good coverage will be his first and his tackling is horrible. Good and Great coaches adapt to the talent they have. Nards has been too stubborn and making this group of subpar players play in a system that they will NEVER be successful in. we are 128 out of 132 in Division 1 in Defense. That is an embarassment.

That is absolutely one of the dumbest statements in a message board filled with unbelievably dumb statements.
No you are just crazy. Terrish Webb, no chance he would play there. Mitchell, no chance. Galambos and caprara, no chance. Lewis, probably not. Jackson, certainly not. Motley, not even close.

With all the coaching changes, we lost a lot of recruiting classes. We literally took most of these guys just because we had nobody at many positions.

That's the problem though, Maddox is sadly the best we have. He was actually a decently sought after recruit. He's clearly better than the other guys, he's just still not that good. The other guys, I have no answer.

I too think it's pretty obvious wirginis is far better than the starters. Brightwell looks pretty good. Idowu I have no idea who thought he should ever see a football field. I'm totally with you on this, I'm baffled why these guys still play because they clearly can't.

He's ticking all the boxes for a poor head coach. Mentally unstable. Teams poorly prepared. Hires bad assistants. Can't/won't make necessary adjustments. Average at best recruiter.

Color me not impressed two years in.
I agree with none of this post.... bad loss yes... but he's had a better start than anyone since the 80s.... in fact it's plain idiotic to be talking hot seat.

Defending your asinine statement makes you even dumber.

Pitt once again, after Wanny, gave itself the death penalty, own worst enemy

Nordy and Pedey were damn fools
I still have faith in narduzzi, but I just wonder what wanny could've done under Barnes instead of that doofus Pederson.

Yeah I'm the dumb one. You're so stupid you don't even realize how bad these guys are. what games have you even been watching? You literally have no clue at all what you're even talking about.

You should go cheer for IUP with all their FBS talent.
You just proved how dumb you are. You clearly haven't watched them because they do have many FBS transfers. And they're not scrub leftovers like the guys chryst and graham left for narduzzi.

If he starts getting better recruits in the next couple years, you, me, and everyone else will seriously look back at now and laugh at what little talent we really have.

personally if I could go back in time, I'd still hire narduzzi no question about it. We got Pederson outta here, that was the big one.

Plus look at the talent now, and where we are. Look at wanny year 2, with a ton of talent. I thought wanny turned out well, just Pederson held him back. Narduzzi/Barnes will be just fine here. We just need players.

Lol....you realize wannys best seasons where when Pederson was here?

But let me guess, Barnes would have told Wannstedt not to kick to Gillyard? Or Edsal wouldn't have gone for it if he saw Barnes staring him down from the club seats?

Pederson wouldn't let wanny spend more money on assistants, but magically wanted a top 10 football team. UConn loss was in the early years when he struggled, but I thought wanny did a more than solid job here.

There's no question Barnes is more committted to making a winning football team. I'm just pointing out that I think wanny was a much better coach than people gave him credit for. Only coach since the 80s to win 10 games so he did something right.
