meh, coach-speak. last year we had an fcs game and despite the coaches saying they are treating this like every other game, they showed about 1/10th of the playbook and made it as vanilla as possible.. Got to say this to avoid the dreaded "bulletin board material" but if we could poke our heads behind the curtain, I bet this staff is spending more time game-planning against Sandusky U.

Earlier this week at the big10 media days a question was posed to Franklin on extending the pitt series and if their team was motivated to get back at pitt. His response was "Akron, Akron, Akron, Akron. "

YSU had a decent team last season, so they won't be a joke. Note sure how many players are returning from that squad.
Given recent history (within the past 5 years), I'd focus on YSU first also.
Given recent history at PSU, you shouldn't be worrying about Akron. Instead, focus on stopping coaches from raping little boys, not letting them threaten gang rape victims on the phone, disallowing students from making fun of a fraternity brother who lays dying on the couch, ceasing the covering up of disgusting crimes, limiting the use of fans proudly displaying the Confederate Flag at tailgates, etc.
But Pitt lost to YSU several years back...

I think the comments by Pitt fans do a pretty good job of keeping Penn State fans away.. I'd say they keep regular people away too because it is over the top. I hope Pitt is spending some time prepping for Georgia Tech. That is a bigger game in the overall scheme for this season than PSU or Okie State, IMHO...

I believe last 2 yrs narduzzi spent one of the fall practices just going against the triple option. I suspect the same this year
I've experienced the same nonsense on BWI. I even had one clown send me threats despite the fact I don't troll, just discuss the game.
That playoff game Y won in a frozen tundra was a great game...
