Great. He stopped the run against Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan under Carr and other pro-style offenses. His defense was designed for that. But Narduzzi is in over his head in the ACC up against all these spreads, talented QBs, and playmaking WRs.

This is very easily the worst Pitt defense of all time......and quite possibly the best Pitt offense of all time. The D is on Narduzzi. His scheme has been an absolute disaster. He leaves his CBs on islands and has Whitehead playing as a run-stopper instead of in coverage.

Narduzzi has a lot of old-school stubbornness in him. He is stopping the run but he is letting opposing offenses put up video game passing numbers.

It'll come. Adjusted well against Baylor and will get the needed players playing at full speed. Do we need to list the wideouts coming out of MSU's conference? If the premise is putting players on an island I think it's important to note that there was talent in that conference now playing in the NFL. Guys need to make plays. DB's are athletes just as the WR's and need to make plays.
