In my opinion, Duzzi's best accomplishment at Pitt is not losing the team after the UCF game. Sitting at 2-3 with 2 humiliating losses and a loss to an NC team, who most picked near the bottom of the ACC. It would have been so easy for the team to put the cruise control on and go through the motions. But, this team kept on buying what Narduzzi was selling even though many Lairmen (including myself) had given up hope on the season. We beat, as it turns out, a pretty good Cuse team and easily could have won a game against ND and the golden dome officials. Since the ND loss, we have beaten 3 credible ACC opponents by a combined 49 points.
Here is to keeping the faith and hoping the boys can finish out the season as strong as we now know they can. Kudos to the coaches and players who never gave up.
