This isn't a "Get Crazy about Nate" post. It was really obvious that the staff was out to protect him in his first playing time, on the road, on TV, vs. a better than average MAC team that beat Pitt a year ago. What Mr. Yarnell proved to me and anyone paying attention is:

* He has composure.
* The Staff did a good job getting him ready to play.
* He throws a nice, catchable ball.
* He has vision. At 6' 4" he sees the field.
* He has mobility given the right play set. Kudos to Cignetti. He did a nice job getting him into the flow of the game.
* He is very intelligent.

Honestly, to me, Yarnell has way more potential than Nick Patti. Kedon Slovis is the guy but I hope Yarnell gets some playing time against Rhode Island, GT & VT.

He has potential to develop into a Great QB.

Finally, Given the play of Yarnell & Hallett- Recruit Texas a lot more.
