The best match of the weekend, Man City vs Chelsea, is on the Peacock Channel, at 7:30 am. That is 4:30 am for me on the West Coast.
On the cable channel that most people have, USA Network, at 10:30 am, is Newcastle United vs. Watford, which might be better than an Ambien if you need something to put you to sleep.
Finally, at 12:30 pm, on the NBC Network, Aston Villa vs Man U. Not a terrible matchup, especially with Villa at home, but not Man City vs Chelsea by any means.
Sunday, they keep it up with the North London Derby, Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal on Peacock. They have Liverpool at home to Brentford on USA, and for me it’s always nice to see Liverpool, but nowhere near as big a match as the North London Derby. That’s one I have always tried to watch.
I have Peacock but also the slowest internet connection in the world, so if I wake up at 4:30 to watch the big match, with all of the buffering it likely will be over at Noon for me.
I understand they are trying to promote Peacock, but if they were smart they would be promoting soccer and Peacock could ride the wave.
