I've seen quite a bit of thought from some wondering if the NIT may be better than the NCAA for this team. The posters say, "We'd be a high seed, and we can win the NIT ..."
I say, the NCAA tourney is about skill and a bit of luck. If we can sneak through and make the NCAA, there is a possibility (however remote) that we get through the first 3 weekends. This team is getting better at the right time. If you don't play, you can't win. Here is hoping the team makes the NCAA and then shocks everyone and catches lightening in a bottle.
100% prefer the NCAA over the NIT. Let's play with the big boys.
