O- PN must replace the OC for next year. Heather doesn’t play around, so hopefully she makes PN do it if he doesn’t on his own.
But for now the OC has to quit running this 1940’s passing game. Our route combo’s stink. WR’s get no separation. Pass blocking is a joke. Put Houy at RT and Bookser back to G immediately.
KP can be an accurate passer if he is not running for his life. He has the arm as he throws the deep out with lots of zip.
Why is the OC not taking advantage of KP’s legs? The kid can run, put some runs for him in the game plan.
Maybe use more max protection. How about taking more shots downfield. Use max protection and take a few shots downfield. You go downfield yesterday and Ffrench gets the PI.
Most of our routes are horizontal or coming back to the ball. Get with the times and hit these guys in motion going upfield so we have a chance at big plays. I did like how he used Mathews on slants as he could use his big body to shield off the defender. We really need Mack back ASAP.
D-maybe the best game by a PN Pitt D. We had them confused as we were blitzing from different angles and attacking all game. Twyman showing promise. Weaver was causing havoc. We have lots of CB’s who can really ball. Love how physical Pinnock plays.
ST-the fake punt-stupid stupid call. Punter still stinks. Kicker extremely inconsistent. Missed FG’s the difference in the game along with some awful calls against Pitt.
We were a 21 point dog and most realistic fan’s expected a lopsided loss. There are no moral victories. But these kids play hard. Credit to the staff and kids for a hell of an effort against a more talented team.
