Going total conspiracy theory here, but I wonder if Barnes feels he had to be careful that he doesn't piss Pitt people off even more just to be extra extra cautious he doesn't get sued over the Turner/Stallings illegal deal. Maybe the statute of limitations has passed anyway. Or maybe he feels completely safe.
He is not going to be careful to not piss off Pitt people so he doesn't get sued over something that happened eight years ago that no one other than some internet conspiracy theorists ever thought he'd get sued for in the first place.
It's far more likely that he hasn't given Pitt much, or even any, thought at all in years, other than when we played them in basketball, than it is that he's spent the last six or seven years worried that someone at Pitt is going to sue him.
So who is on the committee? And why aren’t we going straight to them to make sure they are doing their job instead of tweeting at Lunardi. I’m serious.
