They never recruited him. I think hes talented & he did have some solid offers, but lets not act like pitt beat out a bunch of sec schools for a bama kid
they did take a 5 star in foster that has turned out real well, i understand we cant recruit with bama, but they miss sometimes.

I like this kid's slashing, gliding style, moves well with the ball in space. Doesn't allow defenders positioning to make a big hit. Love his vertical. Seems to want the ball in the air and knows the spot where it's coming too. A potential red zone weapon. Good size for a recruit. Seems to me to be a bit under the radar. Not a 2 star nope sorry. Looks like he opened some eyes his Jr. year. Not enough for some SEC bigs come sniffing, but in time they may have wished they did. A solid recruit. He's the type of weapon we want at Pitt! Maybe if it was Jesus we could get these guys off suspension and dismissal and he could help out with some of the bad calls we usually get just at the right time!
Given his length, he would seem to project as an over the top long ball, or fade to the corner type of guy. But his wiggle in open space is impressive and pretty rare for a guy whose as long as he is, so he could develop, in time, into a good, all around college receiver. Like the pickup.
Offers matter not stars. His offer sheet reflects his 2/3 star status. He reminds me of a kid Walt took with his last ship one year , sleeper , that really got the ball rolling for Pitt

He has multiple P5 offers and will be a solid 3* and top 1000 recruit. He's nothing like a last minute reach recruit.

Lol in no way is it a wet blanket to say a kid wasn't recruited by a school when he factually wasn't recruited by that school, ESPECIALLY when i also said he gad solid offers & is talented. Yall are unreal
It's not about this new commit, I'm sure every poster is happy enough with it. It's about calling out posters that chronically exaggerate and distort facts.
For instance, for a poster to suggest that Narduzzi walked into the heart of Dixie and stole this highly coveted kid from the in-state heavies that wanted him is complete horseshit, a blatant misrepresentation of the facts.
We stole him from Illinois, UVA and Troy. He may end up being a player for us, he may not, but his offer sheet tells the story of how he's thought of by the people that matter as a prospect.
My favorite excuse from the Pollyanna crowd is the standard "a bunch of the big boys were looking at him and were about to offer." 1. They have no idea whether that's true, and 2. If the big boys liked him enough, his Pitt commit wouldn't stop them from offering, not for one second.
That has nothing to do with it and you know it. The problem is the posters who lie and misrepresent in a cultish way to make things sound better. It is Joebot-esque. They just have gold, instead of white, and different shade of blue on. That is embarrassing.

That's not optimism. Optimism is hey, maybe we got ourselves a good under the radar player here. I'd agree with that sentiment. But this post suggests that we stole a kid that Bama and Auburn wanted, and that's pure bunk.
there's too much stupidity posted here on a daily basis to respond to all of it, but some of it is just so idiotic it just can't be left to stand unchecked.
