New NCAA start rumors

So it seems like they’re gonna start right around thanksgiving with games which would be great. At least 25 games total so they would have some out of conference games which imo is very important for us to have a successful season. The question on those out of conference games will be who can Pitt play that is close that can match their testing protocols? This is where we may end up playing duquesne anyways! Lol...

In conference, it sounds like they’re going to settle on 3-4 team hubs for a weekend. You’ll play the other teams that weekend at certain sites. Whether they will be home, away, or neutral site not sure. This was the latest relayed to me yesterday.

Its really stupid to play OOC games in this environment. Just go to a bubble and play 24-28 ACC games.

There’s literally no chance a bubble could work for that long without compensation for players which is the point of having shorter “bubbles” and theres also no chance of coaches agreeing to 24-28 league games. Many more coaches would be fired in that situation.

Also to have an idea of competitive balance in the NCAA Tournament, you have to have some idea of how goodeach conference is compared to others. Otherwise it would be impossible to pick an actual ncaa tournament
