I think everyone would agree he surpassed the most aggressive expectations for 2018, especially considering his time frame was the ninth inning with 2 outs.
Are there examples of other new hires who would have closed on the equivalent of Walker, Akok, Achiuwa, etc. by now - probably, but not many.
The question is what can a non blue blood, coming off of a winless ACC season, reasonably expect.

Does it make it worse that somewhere in the back of my mind i was hoping the new coach excitement/momentum would translate into winning every priority recruiting battle. Of course.
I think at the end of the day, most reasonable fans know its still early, very early. A lot can and will happen. He is known as an excellent recruiter who builds relationships. This takes time.
Let's allow him to do what he does best and on a reasonable time frame.
