Underwhelming offer list. I'm not sure why we're taking these commitments so early in the game, I have to believe we have bigger fish on the board?

But what the hell do I know?

Welcome young man.

Welcome young man.

The most important aspect of recruiting is to bring in kids with upside.

This kid is going to get better over the next football season. He will receive more attention by the end of November. I trust Narduzzi...

Besides, he's pretty good friends with Devin D.

From the videos:
1) High motor.
2) Reads plays; doesn't over-pursue.
3) Hits hard and completes tackles (always wraps up).
4) Has a frame that can add weight.

He's not a flashy player, but he definitely has that "will get P5 interest as a senior due to potential of being a very solid player, especially at 250#" vibe.

from his videos he looks darn good !

Welcome to PI double T !!!

I understand that it's early and Narduzzi does his best at the end of the cycle but this has been a pretty pathetic start to the cycle. I know we'll close hard (fingers crossed) but what if we started fast too? Who is/are the ace(s) recruiter(s) on this staff?

If we are getting unrated kids committing in Jan and Feb, then count me as worried. However, at this point in the season there is no reason for Duzz to offer kids who he doesnt think are quality additions. I have to believe that this kid is underrated and the staff really like him.

Ultimately the coach leads that team out of the tunnel so it's against his best interest to easily settle for guys he doesn't think cut it at all.

The lines are so severely drawn today (so it seems) that programs are strictly tiered and 4 and 5 stars (and their handlers) will stubbornly stick only with their designated "tier" teams. To the extent that more than ever are eager to commit to an Alabama even with the high likelihood that they may never play a down.

I certainly understand casting one's lot with a sure winner and I'm sure a lot of it are guys have supreme confidence in their ability to rise above their comp, but it happens more than ever now.

I guess, like the phenomenon of players skipping bowl games, you can blame it on the NFL. These kids get a shot in NFL combine and camps simply by being able to put "Alabama" or "USC" next to their names even if they were buried on the depth chart. Or even from hype they got in high school. That's DEFINITELY why Rushel Shell got a shot with the Steelers. They remember he was a big deal coming out of high school. It certainly wasn't his sad WVU output or his (chortle) character. They did the same with Toney Clemons a couple years back. It's a sad statement, frankly. Games and productivity should matter.

And of course there's the element nobody wants to admit or discuss, and that's the "Bag Man" effect. In this era where the NCAA has cast the facade of integrity to the wind, gleefully condoning cheating, Pitt's prospects of being able to attract and wrest commitment from elite recruits are lower than ever.

It's a tough situation for a coach like Duz toiling in the middle of behemoths and saddled with a dime store administration.

In Pat we trust. He is killing it.
I know after 12 Posts and beating the National & ACC Champion Clemson & Big Ten Champions Penn State with just 16 Four Star Recruits is killing it on Pitt Is It!

Only USC and Pitt beat Two Conference Champions in 2016, in Washington, Clemson, and Penn State. Still, that is no surprise to Pitt Fans since USC & PITT have produced some of best in the NCAA Record Books and NFL Records & Awards more than Penn State!

Unfortunately, this continues to proves you can't see Great Coaching and Coach Pat is still Rebuilding the Pitt Program in just his 3rd Year and Pitt 5th Year in the Big Ten?

I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to you too, by keeping The Penn State scandal alive on all Rival Boards with all your different names your in the pursuit for not accepting the Truth and just being a Nittany Liar.

It is time to Thank You for all the Wonderful Opportunities to set the Truth about Penn State straight due to your ignorance and arrogance to refute the Truth, as seen in your one liners that can't prove otherwise against Children Molestation's Depositions, Testimony, all Under Oath.

Even the Paterno Family admits they care about and believe what happen to Children by Jerry Sandusky a Recruit, Player, Coach, alumnus, and Employee brought to Penn State by Joseph Vincent Paterno was a mistake and admit too Joe should have done more publicly.

You do a great job of allowing others to correct the Nittany Liars like yourself that can't handle the Truth from the Children Victims, Current Penn State Trustees & Leadership, Jurors, and Great Penn State BWI Rival's Posters that make fun of you doing it any many names you have shame and stain Penn State!

The facts remain Penn State is better now and it took many High Crimes & Misdemeanors to Clean it Up, and without you no one would know the full truth!

Again, your Obsessions are part of Penn State Football Confessions!

Concessions Accepted With Citations On The Truth Above Refuting Your Beliefs Under New Names Just Provide More Opportunities To Prove PSU Fans Like You Know The Penn State Football Culture Corruption Needed Correction!
