That would be my guess as well. I know he had some other schools interested but with his connection to Watson and the possibility of opportunity that’s who I’m going with.
And I like Pickett as much as everyone else does. But as good as he’s looked in a very small sample nothing’s guranteed.
I would hope they can get a better qb than locksley in. Why wouldn’t a QB transferring in think he can compete for this starting job? What other P5 program offers a better opportunity than Pitt at QB?
He seems more like an athlete than a QB, which is why UT wanted to move him to WR. I don’t want to see a QB playing that can’t throw the ball. I hope someone else also wishes to transfer in.

Frankly, it is beyond surprising in such a short time we could get a QB like Locksley in and get him to commit... so I am kinda doubtful it is him. Would be an outstanding job of recruiting if true
Watson was his coach at Texas so the relationship was already there. He was looking for a school when our 2 back ups announced their transfers. I think it' just common sense to think the verbal is Locksley.
Yes, I was hoping for a Josh Rosen grad transfer if Watson would get off his dead ass.
