This is a great pick-up. Played in MLB high school showcase in Tampa this year. Throws in the low nineties as a high school player

Scouting services say he throws in upper 80s, touching 90. Described by US Elite Baseball service as having huge upside. Plays at Penn Cambria. Left handed pitcher, 6'2. Also plays basketball. Calls him a solid kid who comes from a baseball family.
It lists him as a Michigan State verbal, but he clearly now is committed to Pitt. He verballed to MSU in October 2016.

Local paper did a piece on him this summer. He's touching the the low 90's now. His father was his high school coach...absolutely comes from a baseball family from grandfather to him. There are a lot of good ball players in this area I was surprised Pitt got involved. I've not heard of them recruiting in this(Altoona) area before
There is another kid from Altoona who is rated a top 50 national prospect. I don't remember his name.
