What level are these recruits top 100 type recruits?

None are on MaxPreps preseason AA team. But, that isn’t surprising: All are juniors and they only had completed their sophomore seasons when that team was chosen. There are only 37 players on it, and the majority are seniors. The bad news is that 2 of the seniors are going to UNC and two are going to Louisville.

None are on Volleyball Magazine’s preseason list of the top 50 seniors or top 25 juniors.

I think the next two classes should be the time for Pitt to start landing top 50 talents. Every senior and every junior in Volleyball Magazine’s list had committed by April, when that list was published. That means all the juniors-to-be had committed by the end of their sophomore years. Pitt was a second round out in the NCAAs at that time.

They've announced one signee so far: Cat Flood out of Illinois.

Top 150 Senior ace by PrepVolleyball. Outside hitter.

I think being a mainstay the last 3 years in the rankings should help some going forward.

And hopefully the victory heights projects come to fruition sooner rather than later because that would be a huge upgrade and help recruiting. As well as keeping dan fisher.
