no inside info - but Sophi Gregoire - OH Oregon would make a lot of sense .
4 Star out of High School. Played for US Dev Team. .213 Hitting Percentage as just a true freshman, many Oregon fans were impressed with her in limited time
I think she is a starter level talent, but can also take a Bayless level role for a year if they can find a stud in the spring. But this would be a very solid start
She would’ve been Oregon’s OH2 after Colyer this year before their program blew up. Was their third OH last year behind Colyer and Ohwebete as a red shirt freshman and Oregon people liked her potential in limited opportunities. Has 3 years of eligibility. Good pick up, still need one more for sure
I thought we might get Colyer after their coach left for Kansas, but she committed to Wisconsin. Gregoire appears to have potential, but I don’t know that she is the immediate answer. Unless another coach switches schools, there really aren’t any OH in the portal at the level we need.

Ive seen that Washington OH Emoni Bush could portal soon. Have to wonder if Pitt would get in on her. Time will tell. Im extremely confident in Kellen as a recruiter to do what he sees best for the team. We will be in a good spot come season time
I was under the impression Emoni Bush was in the portal already.....but remains uncommitted.

Kentucky has 2 of the 5 best OHs in the country, will be a minimum top 5 preseason team and Deleye is a front runner for NPOY along with Liv. I assume this was tongue in cheek but there’s 0 chance of Skinner or Deleye going anywhere. Emoni Bush is probably the best option out there right now, no idea if Pitt has been in contact with her though.
I did a search in VT and didn’t find any mention of Bush being in the portal.

If it's her...she's Canadian so the cold weather won't bother her LOL.
Hopefully.....her recovery from the ankle injury will proceed as well as Bre's has. I have read she was very high on Pitt before signing with Oregon out of high school. Now we have her.
