Champagnie vs Ellison
Hamilton vs Chuka
Muphy vs Frame
Drumgoole vs N'dir or Davis
Coulibaly vs ???

To me this is a big difference from last year to now. It's still early, but I saw enough
in the FSU game to know that Champagnie and Hamilton are major upgrades.
I put Murphy vs Frame, but maybe it should have been Murphy vs Davis. I really
liked Frame and what he brought to our offense, but Murphy is really going to help
us IMO.
Drumgoole didn't score against FSU, but he's a legitimate shooter and will be scoring
sooner than later.
Coulibaly didn't play, but he's clearly an addition if only because he's a third big which
we didn't have last year.
These are obvious upgrades. They represent a step upwards in Capel's recruiting. He's
already well on his way to even a better recruiting class for 2020. I'm very optimistic.

Yes Murph v Davis And Sidy is the more apt comparison. Drumgoole v Frame is a more apt comparison.

By the way, I loved Frame. Such a great kid. Total team player. Drumgoole can be better with time.

Last season is history .
Would rather look ahead to next season , who are we losing from this roster ? Hamilton and Chuckwuka.
Johnson should come back and Pitt will be primed for a memorable season, esp with Horton on board . Actually, I don't think there should be any question as to whether Johnson should return. I don't think he will be even close to being ready for the NBA.
But I'm getting ahead of myself , Lets enjoy this season and beat WVU next week and Syracuse later .

I wouldn't underrate Johnson just yet. He basically played a top 25 defense and had 13 points, shot 40% from three, with two steals and 6 rebounds. Not too shabby. It was ugly, but number wise not as bad versus watching it.

Love the player, just dont think he is NBA ready is all.

These next 10 games Karim will get a lot of playing time to get caught up to speed which will allow him to produce by the time the league game start. IMO

I think the biggest difference is we have established ACC-level starters that you can count on. So the new guys can play "roles." Last year, our new guys had to score 30 (at least 1 of them) or we couldn't win.
