All due respect, think some transfers turn out better than top recruits ( pat bostick vs Nate peterman)

Mack already caught passes and had big games as a freshman at the big 10 level. Indiana did not want to lose him and aggressively opposed his transfer. He was the top receiver in an admittedly beat up receiving corp in the spring. He’s now got three years of immediate eligibility. Objectively, I think there’s some room for optimism.

I don't know how good he is going to be for the Panthers but the wide receiver unit now is less of a ? And more of a check mark at this time.

By the way, would it make you feel better if I told you he had an offer from Penn State at one time during his high school football recruitment? Don't tell anybody but he did.

Also, he came from Indiana. Gotta take into consideration how much better the qb play should be at pitt if Pickett is anywhere near as good as he briefly showed last season.

Stats are one thing. How many people actually watched his game films though and studied closely things like how many times he got open and the qb was sacked or misfired the pass?

I don’t know how good he’ll be but at practice he’s allegedly been our best receiver. I don’t expect the kid to win a biletnikoff or anything but I think he’ll put up much better numbers than he did at Indiana (as a RS frosh. nonetheless).
