Based on Pitt’s website the following players won’t be back:

Seniors

Wehler
Jordan Anderson
Hulett
Washington
Stuart
Lester
Gilbertson

Juniors that could possibly leave

Hess
Corcoran
Levens

I guess there could be transfers as well. I would expect some transfers in and JUCO’s to fill some of these spots.

Yep. All they have to do is sign 9 good transfer pitchers.

Corcoran did a good job this year. Devereaux did a pretty good job and was a So. this year. Bautista was a Fr. and I could see him making a big leap forward. There are some other younger guys who could step up as well. Yes - they do need some additional pitchers, but they aren’t that far away.

Were Miller and Summers hurt, or just bad? They along with Stuart I had the most hope for. Those two provided very few innings.

I did not think much of Dragani and Evans. Bair gone? Coble gone?

Ferguson hurt all year? I wondered about Droll.

Bell is going to have to recruit the portal hard for replacements which may not be a bad strategy for northern teams. For the most part all high school stars are going to either get drafted or go south where they can play year round. Focus on older successful mid major talent that wants to test their talents in the ACC for a few years.

I actually think Evans has decent stuff. He throws in the low 90’s. He just needs to be more consistent.

90 hits in 67 innings? You are joking right?

38 xtra base hit in 67 innings?

Sounds like decent stuff?

A batting practice machine has more effective stuff.

I didn’t say he had a good year. I said I think he has decent stuff. He needs to figure out how to use it more effectively. Kids mature at different paces.

We have Oswald from Akron coming in.

How good are the new freshmen pitching recruits? - Falace, Lill, Reed and Slattery.

Also Ethan Firoved formerly of Va Tech committed as a transfer.

Got to think Bautista has a chance to be a weekend starter with the way he came on towards the end of the year right?

A few more on this lineup won’t return but we’ve done a good job of plugging holes with transfers.

Which players are expected to move on? Do you have any info on incoming recruits?

Devereux may be next year's Sunday starter. I talked with him yesterday. Corcoran will probably go pro. Levins too. But who knows.

I think they’d both be 15-20 round guys if they’re drafted, but if they’re drafted at all, it’s a no brainer to go.

With the recent changes to the draft, almost everyone who gets picked signs. But those 15-20 round guys don't get much money.
