Clemson's RPI was awful.

With so many auto bids for regular season champs, there are only 8 P5 teams in NIT. I really think there is a market for a CBI-like tournament for teams like Clemson, who cant make the NIT now because of all the mid majors, but not using the CBI's pay for play model.

Well I can see why. Looking at those brackets the schools invited to the NIT are clearly not worth their time or effort.
