More of a slap to Ped St since we have been out of the running for awhile, and they were thought to be #1 not that long ago.
why is that odd?
Everyone recruits IMG, it's a D1 farm team, college football training camp. That's why kids from all over the country go there. He played at IMG and had UF. UM and FSU after him. I thought he may stay in Fla.
PSU fans blame Karlo for him not going there. Karlo posted that Hainsey was going to commit there some weekend he took a visit to PSU and all the PSU guys got pissed that Karlo stole Hainsey's spotlight and was selfish. Then Hainsey never committed, went to IMG...and now they don't even get in his top 3. How sad, what a tragedy for PSU.
I don't think that is true. Especially if they visit.Everyone recruits IMG, it's a D1 farm team, college football training camp. That's why kids from all over the country go there.
It's been PSU, ND, MSU and Michigan for this kid for a long time, right? Nothing odd about the final 3. Very few northern kids want to play at the Florida schools.
It's a fact. Check the rosters at the Florida schools, then check the rosters at the major midwestern schools. The overwhelming majority of 4 and 5 star kids from the midwest and northeast stay in their regions, even though they are recruited by every program.I don't think that is true. Especially if they visit.
Growing up wanting to? That is a completely different issue. Those schools get lots of kids from the northeast and their share of top players from the midwest, but by and large they don't have to get those players because they are surrounded by fertile recruiting grounds all around them. They pick and choose a few kids to chase from those areas every year, but their roster is going to have only a few players commit and stick. To expect anything else is silly and not an indication that those kids wouldn't want to play at UF, FSU, or Miami. It's a fact. It might be one major D1 football prospect in 100 living in Ohio, Michigan or PA for that matter growing up wanting to someday play for Florida, FSU or Miami.
