not one freeakin' word in local media about nitters horrible showing in Philadelphia. not one. everyone had their story typed up about how hack "hacked and slashed" through a porous,inept, temple secondary-and how the dominator unveiled a slashing running game.also,all was right this year with a rebuilt, seasoned, o-line.

Check out Zeisse and Colin Dunlap's tweets, a couple nice little digs in there, especially dunlap's tweet calling out James from state college.. Ron Cook still worried about psu fans needing more time to "heal."
The articles on Sunday for the game recaps were pretty brutal. Also, I know guys like Zeise, Richie Walsh from KDKA, Dunlap, etc were pretty critical on them on various talk shows and on social media.

This is correct, like PSU basketball. When they do OK it makes the front of the sports page, when they suck like usual it's buried in a little blurb on page 6. The classic double standard.

I can imagine. Pitt was thoroughly ripped when they were dismantled by Akron last year. Let's hope the team shows up ready to play this weekend and we don't have to relive that brutal week of stories.
