Christian Pulisic called out the fans last night for not showing up. 30K stadium and maybe 20k showed up? I’m seeing excuses being made that ticket costs are high and US Soccer price gouges the fans. And this was a friendly so fans aren’t going to pay that kind of money for an exhibition.

1). Maybe US Soccer shouldn’t be paying the women all the money they do.

2) I don’t care if it’s an exhibition. Morocco is a good team and attractive opponent.

3) USMNT is a niche team inside a niche sport in this country.

4) maybe Pulisic should have played American football instead. Oh wait, scratch that. lol.

3. And if they want more fans - win more games that count and stop gauging for exhibition games. Also, links to the women’s team hurt the guys in every way. Make them look worse in terms of results, make them lose money, and associate themselves with some of the most unlikable and entitled athletes to wear a USA uniform.

The biggest issue I've heard is ticket prices. They also need to start having games outside of Ohio lol, they seem to be getting apathetic

I'm actually a fan of USMNT, more so than USWNT, because the women are TOO GOOD, because the other countries started taking the sport seriously much later or they still don't. If I lived near enough to a game, I'd consider going, I went to a Gold Cup game in 2015. How much where they charging anyways? And soccer isn't like American football, where you say its an exhibition and nobody tackles., they still play pretty hard.

Maybe he wouldn't be any good at American Football?
Not maybe. He wouldn’t. That’s the point. I’d have said he could have played hockey, but no one cares about that either. My point is that Pulisic should just shut up and play the game that’s providing him a pretty good living.

I'm waiting for SMF to come here and tell us how Pulisic would be an All Pro WR! Like he said that Messi would be a Hall of Fame 2B if he played baseball and LeBron would be the next Messi on steroids if he played soccer :)

Pulisic is 140lbs soaking wet. And while soccer is a physical game that takes bravery to play, it’s physical in a different way than American football. Pulisic would get killed playing it. He can play hockey, baseball or tennis. But he wouldn’t be as successful. He’d be Rafael Belliard if he played baseball.

But it is still a niche sport, and a weeknight game too? If it was a Saturday I bet it would have been full. And you know a lot of those USA fans at these games are these Outlaws, a lot of them are obsessives and travel all over the world for these games. I've read some of their conversations on the Facebook pages, some of these people go to every game, even away games in El Salvador or Martinique, me I'd go and did go when it was at Ravens Stadium 15 minutes from home, but I'm not flying to Honduras for a game :)

Yep. The USMNT is a niche inside of a niche.
