Give me the Backyard Brawl every season!this is why you play wvu every year. this is a rivalry. this is why you should play psu every year (yeah, i know the blame on that goes to psu)..
this is what makes college football great.
I agree, but get ready for the jagoffs to tell you we don't need to pay PSU and they don't care about them and they can just barley stand WVU.this is why you play wvu every year. this is a rivalry. this is why you should play psu every year (yeah, i know the blame on that goes to psu)..

yeah, they won 9 games and have their qb returning. big 12 pre-season rankings i've seen all seem to have them in their top 5 or 6 of the conference..Every hillbilly will be in town because they won a few games last season.
Why would this year be any different than the last 40 years?I'm glad to hear this...that said, I doubt this is due to pitt selling more season tickets. I would guess after 3 wins ticket sales are down. This is just pitts way of trying to encourage more season ticket sales which is a catch22. It might force some to buy season tickets only to do the usual and not show up for the other games.

optimism is high. but you never know, it's why they play the games on the field. but not going out on a limb here to say that we will be underdogs in our game with them.
It's notWhy would this year be any different than the last 40 years?
Lost by a combined score of 107-54 to those two teams and also lost to 4-8 Houston. I’m sure their wide-eyed optimist fans could go on some tangent about why they’re going to be so good again though. The exhibition win vs UNC's 2nd string doesnt count. Here's the 8 teams they beat:
Duquesne
Pitt (3-9)
TT (6-6)
TCU (5-7)
UCF (6-7)
Cincy (3-9)
BYU (5-7)
Baylor (3-9)
Incredibly, they only played 2 of the Top 6 B12 teams and lost both. One of the more favorable schedules you'd ever see. I
I wouldn't bet against Pitt and WVU being in the same conference again sometime within the next 15 years; but if it happens, it will be far from a perfect world scenario. At the end of the day, this game should be played every year, and in a perfect world, we'd be in the same conference.
I don't like doing this with Penn State, because there are at least some fans of theirs who will buy the season package and let the other six games go to waste.
With WVU, you don't have to worry about anybody obtaining enough money to do that. Don't think you can get a reverse mortgage on a whiskey-soaked tent.
Boydo I remember thatmid week debacle. A halfdozen drunk obnoxious hoopies.Sorry, but you clearly forgot about the success of occupy heinz...🤣🤣🤣
