Vance Bolyard has enjoyed the recruiting process, but with his offer sheet crossing the 20-school mark, the Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guilford tight end felt like he needed to reel things in.
“It became a lot,” Bolyard told Panther-Lair.com. “There were coaches that I knew I didn’t want to go to their school and I would hear from them a lot, so it just came kind of a chore. It felt rude to ignore them so I figured I would put it out there.”
What Bolyard put out there was his top six, narrowing his 21 offers down to a half-dozen that he intends to focus on exclusively:
Pitt, North Carolina, Maryland, Duke, Rutgers and Minnesota.
