Landing Timberlake to play point is an interesting thought.

i dont think he meant for him to play point, i just cant see him doing that, Hes an off the ball forward if im not mistaking, hes very talented but why would you want him playing point

I'm pretty sure I saw in the past week that Timberlake is playing point at DeMatha this year.

If he did land Timberlake, and that's a big IF, the pressure to land a PG would be greatly relieved for a variety of reasons:

- With Hugley, Timberlake, and Horton, it could entice Johnson to stay 1 more year as thats a potential Sweet 16 team

- Even if Johnson leaves, Pitt would have to be top of the list for any grad transfer PG

- Worst-case scenario, McGowens running the point with Timberlake and Toney/Horton on the wings isnt bad. Remember, McGowens was brought in to run the point.

He looks strong - can take it to the hoop, absorb contact, and still finish.

Made a few mid-range shots off the step-back.

Questions
Worried about a potential lack of speed; there were a few times he beat his man only to have the defender catch up and cause him to dish it out rather than finish.

Beat FSU opening night and I think it comes with a top 100 recruit in this class. Not sure who, but will be easier to sell the program is on the rise with results.
