Oh I know bald zoo guy and yeah its been years . I wish the zoo would embrace this team. I think its a big step back to the future
To be honest. I think the Zoo has done a great job sticking with the team all things considered. Or at least notably better than the overall fan base. Dave’s job was much easier in 2009 for sure.
The Zoo quite literally set an attendance record this year….. and then watched the team lose by 25.

It's truly a wonder that the Zoo has attended these games as well as they have, with the exception of the games where the students are on break, of course. The fanbase has surely abandoned the team, and for good reason.
Without looking at The Zoo today, I'll bet that there won't be more than 1,000 people at the game, if that. I've seen a lot of empty seats in the prime lower bowl sections in most games this year. Today will be worse than that.

They are giving out Pitt mugs at the game today. They are only giving out 1,000 of them. The reason they aren't giving out more is because they don't want to have too many left overs.
I liked that guy but remember that girl who sat next to him in the Zubaz Pitt hat shrieking all game?
As a former Zoo leader in the early 2010s, we had it MUCH easier than the students now, who have basically never seen a good basketball team. So anyone they actually get to the games is a big accomplishment. You’d love to see the zoo full and rocking for games but the reality is, there is just no reason to with the on-court product.
Life comes at you fast. Our last number 1 seed wasn’t all that long ago to most adults - but these kids were in elementary school. Need to win to bring it back.
