Billboards all over the place here in the Harrisburg area with a pretty solid assumption Penn State would suck as usual and they may give out the rare promotional freebee but alas they are putting up 70+ even in losses.. Endless shrimp took down a ton of Red Lobsters so maybe PSU's un-suckiness takes a chunk out of Mickie D's.....If only Mangione had hung on until lunch today..

this is no different than wendys giving free chili to pens ticket holders if they score 7 goals, win or lose. that was about 30 years ago though.

of course there are several wendys in a city like pittsburgh. one McD's in state colleger doing this promotion? Pretty short sighted Promotion, and that doesnt even include the construction.

imagine working that mcdonalds after a psu hoops game? you are getting a couple hundred (at least) psu students coming in at same time, ordering a small coke and wanting the nuggets..

Well, one difference is that even back then it was a lot harder for a hockey team to score 7 goals (especially one as bad as the Pens were in some of those years) than it is for a college basketball team to score 70 today.
