When Wake's bigs go 5 for 5 from the three point land and six or more Wake players, including the ACC leading scorer, hit from three Pitt is going to lose. But those 15 points from the bigs were the difference, that and six or so Wake guys hitting threes.

Speaking of hitting, when Femi got smacked in the face while guarding a baseline drive by Williams and what is usually a chance for Teddy V to dance and call an offensive turns into a "and 1" for Williams, I knew it was going to be a Pitt loss. Teddy saved his dance for Femi's block out. And the officials put Burton in his place and the refs continue to try and teach Collier how to set a pick, somebody has to.

Both teams came back offensively from their prior games, it's just that Wake's bounceback resulted in a lot more points and that even despite the fact that Wake did not even get one single lucky bounce on the rim or ridiculous bank shot. Have you noticed Pitt has had six or seven of those go against them this year

If these teams played 100 times, Wake would win all 100.

Got it--so the explanation for what we have this year is that Pitt is unlucky and the victim of officiating bias in every loss, and the other team gets all the breaks and the benefit of all the calls, and they have extraordinary one-off performances out of random players in those games. If not for all of that, Pitt would be undefeated or close to it.

I think you have this thing figured out.

It's been years of teams shooting well from 3 against us. Sure, they've had some "on" nights, but we just don't defend the 3 well.

And why is that? Baffling. Next game isolate on one Pitt player on the defensive end. Absolutely mind boggling how they just let a man walk over to his favorite spot in the gym. Wake’s Whitt could be pressured into turnovers but someone always hit a switch and turned off pressure and released their man for example. Santos was horrible in allowing the 3 in his zone as well. In other news, Max played better than Horton. Lol. 🥱
