1. Entertaining game yesterday....like an old BE steel cage match at times. We played with intensity...and a good deal of poise.
2. Don't overlook the nice work done, mainly by James, on Georges-Hunt. 2-9, with every shot contested. Cam's rejection on that break was huge, too. The kid doesn't look for outside shots, just bullrushes to the rim. Those 9 Ft's kept them close, early, and I don't think any of them touched the rim.
3. Their 5's are big guys, but we competed. Aron adds some muscle, and he sets good screens low. Luther's two boards were that happy meeting of luck & effort.
4. People are complaining about the lack of guard scoring, ignoring the fact that Cam is a guard. Nuke DOES look lost, again, though that crossover & layup left a pile of lingerie at the circle. We need more from him.
5. Their press was simply a waste of time & energy.
6. Our zone frustrated their guards unless Mr. Goggles got the ball.
7. Mike Young is rapidly becoming one of my favorite players....a warrior. Two more years will be terrific.
8. All we have to do Monday night is have Duke shoot like the Ville yesterday. Methinks that team is a bit over-rated, and we might steal a W at home over Slimy Rick.
9. I think it's great that Mr, Groat is heading to Durham....hope they treat him like royalty.
