1. Obviously, no contest last night, and our guys seemed businesslike. Not much fire.
2. The Pumas' guards seemed fairly quick & skilled, but really didn't get into the lane. Our length will be a big plus this year.
3. Too many jumpshots, though only a few seemed forced. Gotta shoot better.
4. The whole Young at the 5 thing was overblown all offseason. It doesn't matter, the kid will be a real force against slewfoots like the Zags. True "bigs" will have nightmares.
5. Slim Johnson will be hard to keep on the bench, ditto Milligan.
6. The new shot clock didn't have any real effect on us. A higher confidence level was quite evident.
7. Having basically 8 actual players most of last year is now just a bad memory. 12 guys who all can play....and will??
