Obnoxious Stiller Fans

That's because so many Stiller fans are also hoopies. And I'd say it's a majority of them. That's why I refuse to be around them if I can at all avoid it. And I've never been to a Stillers game and never will go to one. I was offered club seats by the company I work for last year with free food and booze and turned them down. I don't want to be around that garbage.

This is a very poor take on the fan experience for a Steelers game for anyone considering going to a game in the future. The cost of going to a game is absurd but the experience is a lot of fun...infinitely better than the Pitt fan experience.

That's funny. Because I have known more than a few former Stiller season ticket holders who gave up their tickets because of the neanderthals that attend the games. They were staunch Stiller fans and they don't want to be in that disgusting environment. You shouldn't have to be afraid of your safety and the safety of the people you're with when you attend a sporting event. But when you attend games with a bunch of fans of which a large percentage are hoopies, that is what you'll get.

And I know healthcare executives from Chicago who are after 12 years on a waiting list drooling over getting the opportunity to buy season tickets next year. Yes, they will fly in for games and then fly home after.

What’s your point? Steeler games are not for you. You want some tame experience where you can take kids. Not everybody wanrs that. A lot of people want a rabid and electric crowd to keep them on edge. Sorry that being around drunk people yelling scares you. Enjoy Pitt and Pirate games pansy.

I like this point. Steeler games are a bit crazy. Good and bad. It’s not tame. It’s not a place to take little kids (or pregnant wives). Some people like that, some don’t.

You want calm, relaxed family atmosphere, pirate games and sad to say, pitt football games are more for you. You want to get nuts, scream yell and be around chaos, Steeler games are perfect.

Odd, I have been a season ticket holder for 27 years and know numerous people who have season tickets and are not worried about these so-called "neanderthals" you are talking about at the games. Not once have I ever felt afraid for my safety at the games and it's a complete joke to call a large percentage of the fans at the games "hoopies." Get a clue.

He wants to paint going to a Steelers game as the equivalent to going out on “purge” night. He thinks that will make Pitt games look better.

Pitt games are better if you like calm, relaxed family friendly atmosphere. Steeler games are not purge night but your gonna see drunken obnoxious behavior.

As one who’s spent decades being drunk and obnoxious, it’s not the end of the world.

LOL! Wow, so you're a Stillers fan. Makes sense. I'm so glad I don't know you and am not around you in any way. Please stay where you are and don't invade civilization.
Most Pitt fans are also Stillers. So when you are at a Pitt game, look left, look right, look front, look back, YUP VAST MAJORITY of all you see=STILLERS FANS.
