...have done wonders for this team. 1st- their maturity, experience, leadership have had to be a great influence on the younger players on & off the court.
2nd- even though they are not putting up game changing numbers they are changing the way we play games.
3rd- they allow for Young, Artis & JRob to concentrate on playing to their real strengths as opposed to constantly having to go inside & bang w/ the opponents Big's thus getting tired, picking up needless fouls, etc. We now have 2 primo athletes down low that can roam a bit on both ends of the court.
4th- they have come into the Program w/ a very unselfish, eager to please & contribute attitude.
5th - the 2 Big's have allowed Michael & Jamel to for the 1st time since they have been at Pitt to play their true positions w/o having to constantly worry about picking up slack or playing out of position. Sterling has added a mature, controlled presence to go w/ JRob in the Backcourt. I hope he continues to take on more responsibility & confidence as the season progresses. He needs to know he has the greenlight to take the shot, because his shot is legit.
