Many places. but not all
I haven't watched one pitch of one inning and suspect that ratings are average,

But

Having paid attention to the Cubs when Bartram was eviscerated and later demonized I can think of nothing more Karma stabilizing than watching those LOSER CUB fans be forced to watch their Cubbies lose 3 straight at that citadel of mediocrity, Wrigley Field.

Filed under GET A LIFE, the legion of CUB fans and talk show brain dead hosts have been more than cruel.

Add to that the money spent by the Cubs and the arrogance of their manager, players and fans and you have the ingredients for a vat of sour milk for the ages.

On the other hand, the Tribe has gone about its business with steady determination. I lived in Philly when Francona managed there. It was his 1st managing gig and he had much to learn. But he had NOTHING to work with and was treated brutally. I expect that made him tougher and managing in the AL lifted some burdens, but he is a very good manager of people.

I hope Cleveland takes the series in the murder Capital of the United States.

With any luck, Kelly will be at the game and offer some post series scapegoat options for the Cubs and their sorry ass fans.

The Cubs have the nucleus of a championship team for the next five years so there's a very high probability they'll be back. Theo's just too good of a GM not to make that happen. I'm just happy that the Indians are winning right now. As far as I'm concerned it's anyone but the Yankees once the Sox are out of it.

Tito's record in the WS is really impressive. And I agree with you wrt Maddon although he's not really arrogant. He just doesn't seem to know how to win the big one.

I think you mean Steve Bartman. What those Cub fans did to Bartman was pathetic and they still deserve to lose because of it.

If the Tribe wins one more game maybe the Cub fans can find Bartman and throw more stuff on him.

Yeah, I misspelled his name...or maybe subliminally did so to give him.some anonymity.
You know thru that whole ordeal he has been a class act. The opposite of most "pathetic" Cubs fans.

I watched the ESPN documentary on this and the Cubs and their fans are way over the top on this. The problem is that the Cubs lack resiliency and had no ability to overcome the slightest bit of adversity, such as the foul ball not becoming an out.

The documentary interviewed Moises Alou and he said he booked his flights home for after the season after they lost game 6. This guy had zero confidence that they could win game 7. That loser mentality is why the Cubs didn't win in 2003, not because of Steve Bartman. If their SS makes a routine play on a sure fire DP ground ball, they win that game. I don't even remember the name of the SS, but everyone knows the name of the poor fan who touched the ball. There were about 10 people going after that ball. That would happen just about everywhere.

After watching that ESPN show, I hope that the Cubs never win and that they flame out in spectacular fashion every year.

I think they interviewed the guy next to Bartram who tried to get the ball too. That guy has turned to religion (I jest) because he was spared Bartrms' fate.
