I use to follow all sports all the time. However as life and kids entered, my priorities have shifted and i really only pay attention to Pitt, Steelers. With that in mind I keep hearing how the Ohio QB is good, and a draft prospect etc. Listening to the podcast it seemed he is more of runner than a passer. Is this accurate? Is he similar to Perkins of UVa?
Reason I ask is a passing QB always concerns me with HCPN defenses. A QB with good accuracy and an understanding of his passing offense have always made a killing against HCPN at Pitt.
If he is more of a runner who can make throws (like Perkins) I will feel much more comfortable for a solid Pitt win. However if he is a passing QB who can run if needed or wanted (Milton of UCF last year) I could see Pitt needing around 40 pts to win this game. And I'm not sure KP can lead to Pitt to a 40 pt output at this point in the season.
Long winded question for the Ohio QB's skillset for anyone who may know.
Thanks in advance.
