Another chapter in the book of unintended consequences. I think I'll buy a manual tranny car (Should I re-phrase that??). Haven't had one for a while, as Mrs. NTOP only knows automatics.

Yea, what could be worse than a machine that can prevent your whole family from being killed by a drunk driver. I'll pay the extra $50/year in lost speeding ticket revenue for the safety and knowing my life wont end on my next car trip.

FWIW, we won't see this mainstream in our lifetimes.......unfortunately.
