Oladapo to North Carolina Central

He will actually get coaching as Moton has forgotten more about basketball than JC will ever know.

That is difficult to believe, considering that his entire experience in the realm of college basketball, as both player and coach, is at North Carolina Central.

If a guy can coach he can coach. There are D3 guys who can flat out coach. Moton deserves a larger opportunity but it’s hard to move up from a HBCU. JC had better coaching opportunities because he had the talent to play at Duke. Moton is a superior coach to JC

Morton is a really good coach. Surprised he hasn't made the jump to mid-major. He is at too low of a level but I like coaches who coach at programs who do not have any inherent advantages in their league but they win.

North Carolina Central is a D1 school. I didn't say he couldn't coach, I said it was hard to believe that a guy who has spent his entire 13-year coaching career at that level could know more about basketball than a guy who has spent 22 years coaching at the mid-major and above level. Moton is 219-147 at NC Central and Capel is 226-179 at VCU, Oklahoma, and Pitt.
