......going to need Jamel to play a major role in running our offense thru himself. JRob will still be the lead Guard in this but Artis is where we really are able to confuse & mismatch opponents when the offense goes thru him.
Also the more that Jamel takes on this role of having the ball in his hands the better off we will be as a team when games come down to those last couple of minutes & we need a go-to player capable of doing whatever it takes to win the game. Jamel also will make Young's contribution better as the 2 can play a 2 man game as both are great passers, finishers & shooters.
And just when teams begin to focus on our 2 stud's is when JRob 's game can really step up. While JRob is not exactly the best individual, one on one player he will stick a fork in ya if anyone tries not giving him their full attention.
The bottom line is we have a very mature , experienced nucleus of 3 players who are more than capable of playing under the most intimidating conditions.
Does not mean we win all the time but we have the players to compete w/ any team out there. Any win coming out of the Convocation Center is a huge win for a Program. Let's hope we get 1 today.
