things on here is how we can still accomplish our goals. Last week it was let’s run the table and get ten wins and go to the Orange Bowl. This week let’s get to 9 wins and win the Coastal. If we lose to GT it will be let’s win 8 games and go to the Camping Bowl in Orlando. Let’s hope we win one more and get bowl eligible

I have always said 8-5 is a good year for Pitt. What was your prediction for Pitt at the beginning of the year?

Well I predicted a 6-6 record this year with our all new offense and limited skill players. So year, one more win and we are there

I mean, changing expectations is fair to a certain extent. They get revised slightly upwards and slightly downwards.

But most people on this board were predicting between 5-8 wins. Almost zero predicted 9. Absolutely nobody predicted 10. And yet a 9-10 win season in still on the table. I think that's a credit to the team after they lost their two best DL and seemingly everyone on offense is hurt.

It's fair to be a little disappointed given what happened after this weekend (especially with UVA losing) but 5-3 was toward the high end of August expectations. We're not quite as good as we hoped but probably a little better than most thought we'd be.
