We are from out of town so we stay usually downtown or in Oakland in a hotel for games. This time I got us rooms at the Hyatt in the North Shore. It was great staying there with the ability to tailgate and just get around to the different bars and restaurant spots and to and from the game. My wife was able to take our three year old back early when he started to struggle in the second half (I probably would have been better off taking our 9 year old and leaving too for my sanity!)
If you get a chance I would try and stay there once. I would imagine it is tough to get a room regularly though and think I maybe just got lucky.
