O'Neill #16 in Mel Kiper's mock draft 1.0

Oh well, I was hoping he would fall to the Steelers in the 2nd round. I think he'll be very good after a few years.

Well if he does go as #16 in the draft whoever picks him at that level would not be waiting around two years for him to develop.

He just seems a little light in the britches for the NFL but what do I know?

It also looks like Maddox might be working his way into getting some draft day interest!

Multiple reports have said that Maddox has impressed in drills and scrimmage for the Shrine Bowl. He is probably one of the more under appreciated Pitt players in recent memory. He is a solid tough player that should make a roster as a slot / nickel corner.

He, JJS and Weah are all playing in the Shrine game Sat at 3PM on NFL Network.

Out of all who left early he was the most logical one this is just proof of that, even though I am no Kip fan. I expect no worse than mid 2nd round

One kid that has impressed me throughout his college career and at the Shrine practice is Justin Watson, WR from Penn. Went to South Fayette and has been real consistent all four years. Good chance he gets drafted.

He was a great leader for PItt and really battled this year in coverage. Especially given our lack of pass rush.

Mel Kiper's No. 1 overall player in the NFL Draft finished eighth in completion percentage, seventh in passer rating and sixth in passing YPG in the Mountain West.

Maddox will be a good NFL corner. Playing corner in the Narduzzi scheme is challenging and he was constantly going up against future NFL QBs and WRs. Think about the guys he had to cover in his 4 years in the ACC. I agree he was under appreciated.

light? He is 6 foot 6 and 292 pounds. Eric Fisher, the number one overall pick a few years ago was 6"6 and 300 pounds.

In my opinion they look very similar body types. I do think him leaving early my cost him a few slots
