3-3 in the last 6

Losses to YSU, Bowling Green, Florida St, Utah, ND,
Wins YSU (2), Delaware, Buffalo, East Mich, Virginia.
I can also remember some key injuries - like last year.

Not a great record.
Last year against YSU was scary.
Connor went down.

A lot of people think the opener is a gimme - pushover.
That's not true
Should be very interesting.

No doubt there have been mis-steps. But to me what's most relevant is that HCPN is 1 - 0 (even though YSU last year wasn't exactly pretty). He can't be held accountable for the responsibility of previous regimes.

There are NO pre-season games or scrimmages against an opponent other than yourself in CFB (like the pros or high schools). So some unpredictability makes sense. A team better be ready from the first play on.
