The optics of Addison leaving for more money to a bigger school are far more damaging then the on the field loss of production. Addison already has mind on the nfl, likely wasnt' going to come anywhere near matching last years stats. But the perception both at the national level and conference level of Pitt top players being available to any buyers will become a major problem in recruiting and player retention yearly. Bad precedent is looming.
