I love Pitt fans.

Texas is hot garbage that can't stop anyone. They beat a Notre Dame team who stinks in overtime and lost to an average Cal team 50-43.

conversely, I love PITT fans who try to make every team PITT losses to out to be some pathetic bottom feeder. PITT lost to two solid teams, both of whom will likely see the Top 25 (again in OSU's case) this season.
They're not a bottom feeder by any stretch but:
They lost to Central Michigan at home.
The Baylor team (that has our old dipshit D coordinator) that housed them last week is currently losing to Iowa State.

Fair enough. When I hear someone say, "well they beat this team who is trash", I assume you are also calling the winning team trash. I guess that's not the case here.
ultimately, it's way too early to say which teams are good or bad. Miami just played their first real opponent in GT, and won on two defensive TDs .
That's such a crap statement. This is clearly in response to all the trash post last week with the morons saying "see, see". Texas is. Stop 20 team now, stop being overly pessimistic

The issue is not that Pitt lost to Oklahoma state, but how they los, combined with how they lost to Unc, and how they won against psu.
On a related note, for those always bellyaching, Texas gave up all those yards despite being full of four and five star prospects.

Exactly. Regardless, how good or how bad these teams are. In typical Pitt fashion. We had every opportunity to close these teams out with a win. Yet, in both cases we let victory slip right from our finger tips.

Pitt was very close to winning both games. I just sense that the secondary will be the albatros this year. But with the young freshman and Narduzzi having better talent to work with it will be dramatically improved next year.Pitt losses for the most part are replaceable next year. I am hopeful Mac V or Bo will emerge as real talents at QB.
Doesn't matter to me how good, bad or average OSU and UNC are. End result is it is still disappointing to me that they were in position to when both games in the 4th qtr but couldn't finish either game. I won't jump off a bridge because of it but UNC and OSU looking good against someone else won't erase the disappointment.
