The only markets where a plane of this size makes sense are the singular-hub majors that fly long haul and ultra long haul, and funnel everyone through that one hub. The 380 is too big for many, as it is.

SQ, EY, EK, QR, maybe the likes of BA, QF, NH, KE, TH.

This won’t ever be flown by an American airline.
